Just a quick thought regarding this Saturdays home games, is there any chance of them kicking off earlier so that the teams can get to watch England? Although I won't be playing (Johnny Wilkinson lip injury) I would like to be able to have the chance to watch highly tuned athletes playing at the cutting edge of the sport and then England.
Please don't make us choose between club and country!

I'm with you Micky, but, England kick off at 2.00pm. Can't see away teams making it for a midday kick off. |

What's that 8 ball all about? surely it should be a cue ball? |

| Can't really see Kesteven agreeing to an early kick off, would mean they will have to leave about 09.30 to be in with a chance of a midday kick off.Not fair on them i do believe. There's no way we'd do it so you can't expect them to. Going to be a complete waste of time watching England taking it proverbially so might as well play ourslves. Like the cue ball comment by the way. |

I thought more along the lines of the 3rds to be honest, presuming that the away team may have a desire to watch England- but I can understand the point.
You never know England might win though, I know what my money's on! |

Well seeing as you have now reduced your popularity by 50% with your recent ladies comments and postings, any real men will be playing rugby and you only have terriers for company, yes I feel you will be on the solo Leo Sayer down the nuclear with Ronnie S!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| I wish I could join you Mr P Thrust for an all day session, sadly in my condition at the moment I can't. Maybe as your such a lady fan you could sit in the pub, making your wrist warmer's! With your little yorkie's for company(as you don't seem man enough to play rugby!!!) P.s in 7 weeks hopefully I'll be able to have a little drink to celebrate giving birth!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unless it's desparate to make an early entrance. (I can live in hope) |

Yeah I guessed it was rhyming slang, but I couldn't work it out . I was thinking it could be Nuclear Bunker (dunno what that could be slang for though).
I might be watching the England game before watching the end of the game on the Rec - as I'm currently a 'raspberry' after getting my 'bumble' crunched by some neanderthal forward at Willenhall.

Stuck behind the 8 ball? As if that's a common saying- I reckon you have just made that up to hide the fact that the "8" ball is infact your favorite ball because it's black and black is your favorite colour- You forget you showed me your collection of mags including:
"Chocolate Hunter" "Chunky Zulu" "Queen of spades"
.....it also explains that picture of Floella Benjamin you keep in your wallet!
There's no shame in it Simon, no need to tell tales. |
