Last year, the rugby club entered a team in the Peak District Footpath Relay and finished 3rd. Stuart Swalwell along with Andy Keeling have entered a rugby club team for the event on Saturday 30th June. Please contact Stuart on 01335-347814 if you wish to participate or help the team on the day.Great fitness training for the forthcoming season!!
Ideas for the close season have included a sponsored three legged pub race-- sorry crawl. If members are interested in this event, please contact me ASAP and we can try to look at possible dates.
A date for your diary --New Years Eve!!! Jenny Bembridge has started to organise a social event(possibly fancy dress especially as Jenny and Steve like dressing up!!! -- at the Ex-Servicemen's Club for all members and families to see the New Year in.
We are pleased to announce that Steve Bembridge and David 'Diggle' Jones are trying to arrange sports and leisure wear for the new season.
We would like to thank Ian and Sue Jones who have dealt with the club leisure wear etc over many seasons.
