From small acorns, mighty oaks grow and this is happening to the junior section at Ashbourne RUFC. On Sunday, the section hit the 100 mark for children attending a session and what a great day for all concerned.
Ashbourne RUFC entertained Belper at various age groups and how great it was to see both sides enjoying the occassion superbly supported by parents, grandparents etc.
Many thanks to all the coaches, parents etc who are very kindly attending every Sunday to assist with the sessions and thanks to all the senior players (with very thick heads from celebrating Englands great victory the night before) who came along and gave their support to the morning.
The next matches are in a couple of weeks time against Uttoxeter and we look forward to seeing you all again.
