I think something could be achieved.

Even if it was a bog standard quiz. Set it off in the Legion at just the right time to keep the players interested and in the pub for a bit longer- then launch into the traditional crawl.

i dont understand why we dont have more fun and games in the legion after home games. Man of the match, dick of the day stuff only seems to happen once in a while when Bembo gets it going. Any other ideas for stuff we can do to have a laugh and raise money at the same time webmaster? you're normally full of ideas

Back in the day...... there was always a big sing off against the opposition in the pub after a match. Martin Farr was normally the one to start it off. And before that Lenny used to be involved in playing some silly pub games. Not sure how that would raise much money but it was certainly highly entertaining.

Webmaster is normally full of good ideas but I did see Pete leaving sainburys earlier with 4 bottles of Malibu, 3 whole pineapples and a litre of baby oil. He was insanely muttering something about Wednesdays being Peter's special carribean night- I don't reckon we'll get much sense from him by now!

When we were at Linley they did a courtroom thing? what was that? that sounded fun.

On a personal note I think the quiz idea is a good one,as well as taking the "glory" of scoring the points during the games,We (the backs) will absolutely destroy the forwards unless the categories are "What price pies in Spencers" or "How many pints can i get with 20 quid and still afford a kebab on the way home" Bring it on fat boys!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get confused by this, I always think it's an under 30's v over 30's match- which is it?

Mr Leech thats a bit harsh....Salty is not fat, he's just big boned.

Spencers pies are £1.29.

5 pints and a Best Kebab on the way home = £19.85.Mate.

Do i get the points?
