I personally have learnt a lesson from the above.
I think we can get a little "too personal" with the banter- I know I am not blameless!
In future I think it best to stick to the old classics:
Sexism
Nationality-ism (not racism!)
Griff's head
Toms Ego
Micky's Jewishness
And dodgy selection
....or any subjects surrounding the above- just try to apply a bit of savvy!

M-love I have no problem with banter and am as much to blame as you. I will however only take it from people that I have respect for.
It is a shame that the above thread was ruined but I am sure we will have much to discuss over the coming season.
I may now be with Derby RFC but I know that I have many friends at Ashbourne and it would be great to catch up with you all very soon.

Griff I will tell you what I told Mr Salt when he said the same. No they are not a World class side we are totally professional and they are semi-pro, but we didnt expect to win by that amount. The first 20-30 minutes were pure knock-on city, the first penalty try was a little dubious and we had more than 12 stone difference in the pack which we didnt use to the huge advantage it should have been.
None the less had we lost you would all have been happy to take the p*** still anyway!! Wales couldnt be winners to you lot!!!
I do, however, look forward to a little banter this evening and hope that you will all be as happy to take the banter as I have!!!!! |
