Poll Question:
In light of the Ashbourne News Telegraph's current bias towards other sports and activities in the area we as a club should do more to address the balance.
Do you think the club should officially appoint a representative from each team to produce weekly match reports?

would the bush telegraph pay any attention to it? At the start of the season when the 3rd XV were presented with their new kit by Stella from the vaults we took pictures, a match report, a letter explaining what it all was etc etc to the telegraph. I personally posted it on the sunday afternoon clearly labelled and was it ever put in the paper? was it ****, instead we got 5 pages of kids football, senior football, ladies hockey, mens hockey, darts results and fixtures, pigeon racing and dominoes. It's pathetic!!

I think if you we bombard the ****ers every week with match reports and then follow them up every Wednesday if they aren't included they'll soon put them in just to keep us quiet.

Or we could submit the reports Lutheran style by nailing them to the editor's front door.

Notwithstanding the fact that M-Love either doesn't know what a Chinese Burn is or doesn't understand its power in cooercing the editor of the ANT, is any of this getting us closer to more recognition? An under9 will be always play for the under9s and his report writing nominated embarrassing dad will get his report in the queue without the disraction of The Legion. Even if we nominate a report writer for each team, will it get done in time and can we even be sure of them being there. We can't even guarantee the Captain turning out for his side! (sound of old threads opening)
